Radio Show...
This program continues on various series of different topics on theology such as end times, prophecies, daily living, etc. as the subject matter comes up.
The e-book on end times and Revelation, answering the questions “where are we in the events of the end times?” and “Are we now in the tribulation?” is available on this web site, which you can find throughout the pages.
Opening Narrative
So we continue from the last program on the current series of the Book of Revelation, based on the e-book Timing Revelation available on my web site.
In part 1 of the series, I gave an overview of the whole book of Revelation. In part 2, we looked at chapter 1, and skipped chapters 2 & 3 for now which is about the comments from the Lord on the 7 churches...
In part 4, we looked at chapters 7 and 8...
I did mention in the previous programs about the numbers 7 & 8 which are significant in the divisions of divine historical things and events... and that the panoramic chart that the Lord gave me in the vision which comes with the eBook, shows the book of Revelation divided into 7 parts from chapter 1 to chapter 20 which includes the millennium....
After that, the 8th part is about the brand new universe that creation is eagerly waiting for. The number 8 in the Bible speaks of New Beginning.
That's very exciting... and fascinating to come across these elements of the written Word of God given us throughout the whole history – His Story, which shows and reiterate the awesome accuracy of His Holy Book.
So today, I will pick up from where we left off to continue on this journey through the book of revelation right after this opening music, prayer and worship...

Narrative 1
Just before we get into the 9th chapter about Trumpets number 5 and 6, let's look again at the scriptures quoted previously on the the whole renewal of the universe as we know it which will take place in the very end, for which the whole creation groans and awaits, according to the Word of God:
(Romans 8:22)
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
(Romans 8:23)
”And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even (or that is) we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
And Isaiah 34:4, “And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.”
And Revelation 6:14, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
Last week we finished our review of the book of revelation with looking at who the two witnesses of verse 3 were, in the first part of chapter 11... you can hear that program on the replay at the web site TimingRevelation.com if you missed it...
So today we continue in chapter 11 at the 7th trumpet, which picks up back at the events of the two previous trumpet judgments last dealt with in chapter 9....
This 7th trumpet here takes in the overview of what will take place in the forth coming future, which is actually Woe #3...
As we saw previously, the book of Revelation is in chronological order but it takes into account oscillating visions of future and present events seen by John, between earthly and heavenly imagery of events taking place...
And here in these verses, we see just that happening where the vision is of present activities of praise and worship taking place in heaven (vs 15-17), and then future things to come shortly in v.18...
Let's read verses 15, 16 and 17...
15.“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and
he shall reign for ever and ever.
16.”And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their
faces, and worshipped God,
17.”Saying, We give you thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which are, and was, and are to
come; because you have taken to yourself your great power, and have reigned.
And verse 18,
“And the nations were angry, and your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that
they should be judged, and that you should give reward unto your servants the prophets,
and to the saints, and them that fear your name, small and great; and should destroy
them which destroy the earth.
We must mention here that the seventh trumpet that brings the last woe is not the trumpet of the rapture that Paul speaks about in 1 Corinthians 15.
Some people mix these two out of context. This trumpet here of the third and final woe takes place some three and a half years later, in the last part of the tribulation. The rapture already took place earlier which we saw in chapter 4. And we're going to come back to chapter 4 again at the end of this overview of the book of Revelation.
And verse 19 reads, “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”
Now verse 19 is generally connected with the next chapter by many scholars as a flowing beginning of the details to be unfolded in chapter 12 concerning the historical background outline from Israel (above reference to the temple, the ark of the covenant, the sun-clad woman, the red dragon), and then the birth of Christ, to His treading of the winepress of God in chapter 14, verse 20.
These passages of scriptures from chapter 12 to 14:20 are quite demonstrative of the oscillating visions referred to earlier that take place throughout the events, which require more time then we have in this primary overview of the book of Revelation. This will be covered in future increasing levels of study of this multiplex subject matter.
For now, we will continue reading through as per the overview that this level 1 eBook covers as a “beginners study” of the events of Timing Revelation.
We'll pick up from here right after this...

Narrative 2
So, let's continue at chapter 12 starting with the verse 19 at the end of chapter 11...
In this chapter John takes us through a summary of history spanning the time from Israel as the birth place of the Messiah, to the war in heaven where the devil and his angels are cast out. We'll look at that next in chapter 12.
Verse 19 reads, “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament (or covenant) : and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”
.----------------------------------------------
Side note:
By the way about the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls (or Vials), here also some people say that we are now in “the seals” or “in the trumpets”... again that cannot be because all these judgments are in the 7-years tribulation, the majority of them in the second or last 3-1/2 years, but the 7-years Tribulation does not begin until the Rapture has taken place.
.----------------------------------------------
Verses 1 and 2 of chapter 12:
The woman clothed with the sun
1.And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and
the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2.And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
Verses 1 and 2 depicts Israel from within which nation Jesus was born and within which all of the history of the world rotates.
Verses 3 and 4
The great red dragon
3.And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4.And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Verses 3 and 4 represent Satan who awaits his opportunity to slay his rival as he sees it in the Christ who is coming into the world at His birth.
And the “third” mentioned here, is interesting for that we are told when Satan rebelled against God in the heavens a third of the angels followed with him.

Alright let's continue with
verses 5 & 6 of chapter 12...
The man child
5.And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
6.And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared of God, that
they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
v.5 describes without any doubt the Lord Jesus Christ. And seems to jump ahead to the
end of his earthly life when he went up to heaven after His resurrection.
v.6 then takes us to the end of times again when Israel will flea the wrath of the fury of the same dragon who tried to stop the plan of God, right to the end of the second half of the great tribulation that Daniel refers to as the “last end of the indignation” (Daniel 8:19)
Verses 7 to 9
Michael and his angels
7.And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8.And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9.And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
In vs. 7 to 9 we are told of the future war in heaven where Michael and his angels will
defeat the dragon (Satan) and his followers once and for all to never again have access to heaven.
Verses 10 to 17
The blood of the Lamb
10.And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11.And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Once Satan is cast down into the earth his rage will increase against the brethren
because he knows his time is short.
The Liberty Commentary says that at this point the 144,000 and the godly Gentiles with
other redeemed ones of that time will be especially the object of his unbounded fury.
Their victory will be through the blood of the Lamb (justification before God), the word of their testimony (faithful witness) and their willingness to be martyred (loved not their
own lives).
12.Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of
the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.
13.And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14.And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the
wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a
time, from the face of the serpent.
15.And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he
might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16.And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was angered with the woman, and went to make war with the
remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.
So, again those who have accepted Jesus' grace of salvation before the rapture need not worry because they will be in heaven during this time of the great tribulation.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
At verse 13 is resumed the thread of thought in verse 6, giving further confirmation of the time of the tribulation which God has prepared for the woman who represents Israel as we saw earlier.
In v.14, the “wings of a great eagle” speaks of strength as we read in Exodus 19:4 where God had brought Israel into the wilderness fleeing the hostile Egyptians.
Many people today when interpreting the book of Revelation here say that “the wings of a great eagle” refers to an airplane. However we find similar statements in the Old
Testament in Jeremiah 49:22, Ezekiel 17:3 and 7. So it may only refer to God's
miraculous deliverance to the wilderness where God feeds Israel again as He did in the
times of Exodus.
15 to 17. Satan does not give up and further thrusts increase attacks. The flood of waters cast out of the serpent's mouth, represents many nations coming against persecuted Israel.
In the next chapter (13) we will pick up again from chapter 12 about the re-cap of the
gospel story and read about the continued description of the end time events taking
place with the help of the understanding of Daniel 7, 9 and 11.
(Music Interlude)
Narrative 3
Let's look now at Chapter 13
Remember we are still in the last 3-1/2 years of the Tribulation...
Verses 1 to 10
The first beast
1.And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having
seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the
name of blasphemy.
2.And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a
bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his
seat, and great authority.
3.And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was
healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4.And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they
worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with
him?
5.And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and
power was given unto him to continue forty and two months – or 3-1/2 years.
6.And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Here the focus returns to the earth when John picks up again the vision of what is
taking place on earth from chapter 9.
He continues to describe the vision he is seeing and has been seeing beginning with chapter 12, and adds two more symbolic figures that we will read about in chapter 19 as the anti-Christ and the false prophet. These two, along with the red dragon we saw in chapter 12 will form the horrific evil trio.
In Daniel chapter 7 we read about a parallel imagery of this description. “Sea” in Scripture usually represents a multitude of people or nations.
As to the reference to one of the beast's heads being wounded, some say that this is
speaking of the Roman Empire which ceased to exist but will revive again. Others ascribed this as speaking to the anti-Christ.
It seems quite possible that Satan would want to mimic the Lamb who was slain and was resurrected, as he is so bent on impersonating Christ all the way through the final end time of the tribulation. When the people see that, they marvel and worship the beast. But this will be only for a time such as God allows.
5.We have a confirmation here that this scripture speaks of the last 3-1/2 years of the great tribulation.
7.And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8.And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in
the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9.If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10.He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Again we hear the true and faithful One revealing these things to John,
warning us “if any man have an ear, let him hear.”
Verses 11 to 18 of chapter 13
The second beast
11.And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a
lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
12.And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13.And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the
earth in the sight of men,
14.And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Here is introduced the second beast, the false prophet. But it won't be until chapter 16 that we will be given more about his identity along with the other beast and the dragon.
He will deceive the earth by making himself to be as Christ the Lamb of God, counterfeiting miracles but his words will betray him.
15.And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the
beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16.And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17.And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the
beast, or the number of his name.
18.Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast:
for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
15 to 18. The next verses have caused much to speculate particularly as to what the mark of the beast is and the number of his name. It seems that no one has figured out the answer to that yet.
As for the number of his name, I like what the Liberty Commentary says of it: “Probably the most that can be gleaned is that since seven is the biblical number of completion, six, which falls short of it is man's failure at its worst.”
So we could look at this then as, if 666 is the ultimate failure of man against God, then 777 is the ultimate completion of God. Interestingly, after 666 comes the 7th thousand year of the millennium where the kingdom of God is ruled by the perfect and complete God – 777. An interesting view of the mysterious meaning of 666.
As for the mark of the beast, everything is all speculative at this point, but with all of what is going on with the talks and developments with technology, AI, digital money, etc., etc.,any guess is just that, guesses. But those who will go up in the Rapture when the Lord calls don't have to worry right now because that mark shows up in the last part of the 7-years Tribulation.
As mentioned before, what's important right now is that we are ready for the Rapture which can happen at any time. And for that we need to get saved... we need to come to the Lord, we need to accept His work on the cross that we might be saved..
