So “The CGM Chart©” uses that foundation as the basis of measurement.

It answers the question, "On a scale of 1 to 12, where am I in my level of growth and maturity in my Christian walk?"

Each level on The CGM Chart© represents a measure of time that one might spend reading/studying the Word of God, based on the length of time one has been a Christian.

As you measure your level of achievement (or non-achievement), you can see where you are and then work on getting to the next level in order to achieve the goal you want to reach.

The Word of God says that we will be judged based on His Word. If we don't know His word, how can we know what God expects of us in our lives? The Christian walk is all about knowing the Word of God.

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes." (Psalm 119:11-12)
