Clues in the Lord's Feasts

Ok, so we don't know when the rapture will take place. But we do know the season, and the message right now from our Lord directly is to watch and pray ...

We still have to hear yet the answer to “where are we now in the end times time-chart?”

There too, we can know the season by...

1_the things that are going on around us which we have been warned about in the Word of God in Matthew 24 and other scriptures... both in the New and the Old Testaments...

2_we know that every year things get worse and worse... so time advances closer and closer to the very end of the times told in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 and in the book of Revelation.

And here is also another way by which we can tell very unmistakably close where we are in the time-frame of the end times... and that is by the meaning of the Jewish Feasts – or the Lord's Feasts.

As most of you know, there are 7 biblical feasts known as the Lord's Feasts: 4 in the Spring and 3 in the Fall.

The 4 Spring Feasts

The 4 Spring Feasts have already been fulfilled through Jesus Christ.

The 1st is Passover... which through the Lamb that was slain, is about Jesus Christ who comes to give His life for the sin of the world.

The 2nd is Unleavened bread... which foretells the cleansing from sin which takes place again through Jesus Christ's broken body.

3rd,  First Fruits.... foretells the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead by which others are resurrected from the death of sin and also the physical death at the last days – and we looked at that earlier in this program, in the 1st letter of Tessalonians.

And 4th,  feast is Pentecost.... in the Old Testament this represents Moses receiving the Law on Mount Sinai... but in the New Testament, the first disciples received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

So these 4 Spring Feasts represent the cycles of harvest times. Today this represents the time of harvest for souls that we are living in until the end... or the dispensation of the Church today.

The 3 Fall Feasts

1.Trumpet (Rapture)

2.Atonement (Tribulation)

3.Tabernacle (Kingdom)

In a teaching video about end times, I heard prophecy teacher Perry Stone say something awesome... he spoke to a Jewish professor about the time it would take to rebuild the Temple and his answer after considering all the steps needed from the time of getting everything rounded up and including the dedication at the time of Passover was:  3-1/2 years).

Isn't that amazing? It coincides perfectly with the first 3-1/2 years of the 7-years Tribulation, which is outlined in the Timing Revelation Chart(c) related to the reading of the book of Revelation.

As you know there is a lot of talk right now about the Jewish people building their 3rd Temple and I'll talk about this more in future pages.

So, I mean we're close... but let's take a look at the Fall feasts now.

1_Trumpets (or Rosh Hashana) – which is the Jewish New Year as well as a time of blowing the trumpets that call the gathering of the people. And there are a whole set of trumpet sounds that have various meaning. I covered that in one of my Radio Shows some time ago, letting the listeners hear the actual blowing of the different trumpets from one of the Jewish Synagogues in New York.  (I'll try and arrange to link up to it from this page.)

2_Then, 10 days later, we have Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement, which is the most solemn of the Fall Feasts, where the people repent very seriously and deeply for their sins and ask for forgiveness. The High Priest enters the Holy of Holies and a scapegoat is sent out of the camp to die for the sins of the people.

3_Another 5 days later, there is a 7-days Feast called Booths or Tabernacles (or Succoth) where the Jewish people build booths in which they eat and sleep as a reminder of their time of wilderness, in the Old Testament.

(Keep in mind that all these feasts in the Old Testament represent the Christ, Jesus the Messiah who came in the flesh as the suffering servant first and will come again as the victorious conquerer of His Kingsom on earth -- more on that to come on this web site... keep checking as the pages get built.)

Now Here is the important part – the spiritual message of these feast for us today:

1_Trumpets (Rosh Hashana) – signifies the return of Yeshua which will be announced by the blowing of trumpet (shofar) (Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Cor. 15:52; Num. 10:9-10)

2_Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) – Yeshua is our atonement and our high Priest (Isa.53:1-12; Zech. 12:10; Heb. 9:1-10:25

3_When Yeshua returns to earth, God will dwell or “tabernacle” with man. All nations will go up to Jerusalem for this feast. (Zech.14:16-19; Rev.21:3).
