What's New Since Last Month?

I hope that your new year has started on the right foot.

The Timing Revelation web site has grown quite a bit since the last newsletter. I hope that you have taken the time to visit and stroll along the various new pages.

For starter right now, I want to bring to your attention a couple of new articles that are greatly informative and timely.

The first one is:

What is the mark of the beast from the book of Revelation?

A lot of people are asking the question, “What is the mark of the beast?”. Is it a vaccine? (as some were asking during the Covid pandemic). Is it a microchip? Is it a number? Is it a “worship' action? What will it look like? What are we to be watching for when the time comes?

There are and have been many writers and preachers who took on the task to answer these questions. Most of them usually proceed with a long explanation of what this mark “might be”. However these are more or less speculative amalgamations of ideas and concepts.

There's a word in the Bible that has been misunderstood by many of today's preachers and teachers of the Word of God, for a long time, in modern days translation/understanding of the Bible

This word comes up often within the passage of scripture from which it originates... and every time I hear this interpretation I have this uncomfortable feeling in my heart, but so far have been dismissing it for whatever reason.

Did you know?

In 2011, 67.3% of Canadians reported associating with a Christian religion. Ten years later (2021) that number dropped to 53.3%.

In the same time-frame, 38.2% of Canadians identified as Roman Catholic, as opposed to 29.9% ten years later.

Only 7.6% of Canadians say they are Christians but without any specific denomination.

And in 2021 34.6% reported as not having religious identity.

Similarly, looking at our neighbours to the South, the number of Americans identifying as Christians dropped 15% over the past fifteen years. A recent report shows that 63% identify as Christians.

In another report by the American Worldview Inventory 2022, conducted by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, 1/2 of pastors have a biblical worldview, while 62% have taken on different forms of beliefs.

The Word of god tells us that in the end times there will be a falling away -- an apostacy in the church.
